About Us

We are an independently run micro provider.  We offer recreational

activities for people with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Our aims are to provide people with the opportunities to learn new skills, develop self-confidence, improve communication skills, engage with the community, increase independence and promote inclusion.

Reddi Support was set up by a qualified teacher with over 12 years experience of teaching people with learning disabilities and managing a Further Education department.  All staff and volunteers are fully trained and experienced in various subject specialisms.

Learning is a big part of what Reddi Support has to offer.  If you are a school or college leaver and would like to continue with your education then this is something that we can support you with.  In the future, we are planning to offer the opportunity for you to gain nationally recognised qualifications.

We currently offer a day service on Mondays to Fridays as well as occasional social evenings and weekends.

Safeguarding

Reddi Support is committed to safeguarding the vulnerable people who use the service. Reddi Support recognises that it is the right of each person, who uses the service, to be protected from harm and that safety is at the forefront of our work.

Reddi Support has a duty of care and promotes safe practices to protect vulnerable people from harm, exploitation or abuse. Staff and volunteers will work together to ensure that people who use the service are treated with respect, dignity and will embrace equality and diversity throughout its working practices with vulnerable people. All staff and volunteers who work with Reddi Support have a duty of care to report any concerns, allegations, disclosures or anyone who they feel is at risk of abuse immediately or at the earliest possible opportunity.

Reddi Support acts in accordance with relevant legislation, follows best practice guidelines and will apply local authority guidance where appropriate. Our Safeguarding policy and procedure is available upon request. All staff and volunteers are required to have a DBS check and two references prior to working with Reddi Support.
