Individuals can currently access Reddi Support up to 5 days per week and their place can be funded through their personal budget or direct payment or you can self-fund if you have the means.
A personal budget is the money allocated to an individual by their local authority (Council) and is based on the outcome of an assessment carried out by social services.
It can be issued as a direct payment, which means that the money is paid directly to the individual, or it can be issued to a person acting on their behalf and they are then responsible for paying for the services which the individual uses. The individual can buy the services of their choosing, which will help them to achieve their goals. This is known as self-directed support and is government policy.
